House of hope kansas city mission trip experience with champions
The girls of House of Hope KC dedicated a week of service to Champions Special Ministries and were blessed to learn about the values of patience in addition to the power of faith while working with individuals with mental and physical disabilities.

The ladies of House of Hope KC committed a week of service in the month of July and joined Champions Special Ministries to provide quality Day Camp experiences with to individuals with mental or physical disabilities.

Champions Special Ministries recognizes that the Special Needs community is overlooked and underserved in many churches and communities and believe that it is our duty as Christians to assist in providing excellent programming and experiences for those in need, Champions partners with local churches and communities to bring quality Day Camp experiences throughout the summer with professional staffs and programming.
Many churches have excellent staffs and programs, but limited experience working with individuals and families with Special Needs. Champions Special Ministries serves the church and communities by helping present programs of the highest possible quality to meet the needs of individuals and families with disabilities.
ABOUT CHAMPIONS SPECIAL MINISTRIES
Champions Special Ministries was formed in 2012 to serve Special Needs individuals and their families through Day Camps, Day programs, Night of Champions programs, respite care, and by consulting with churches that would like to establish ministries to individuals and families with disabilities.
Alison Gromer, founder of Champions Special Ministries, has a heart for ministry and extensive experience leading a staff of experienced counselors that encourage, teach and demonstrate the unyielding love of Jesus Christ for individuals and families with special needs.
Champions Special Ministries, a national nonprofit ministry, is supported by individual and corporate donations.
